Welcome 2023 Season

Well here we are March 1st and it seems winter is just starting to take hold. It has been a mild one which should bode well for the lakes forage base. In between the snow temperatures are on the rise and the ice on the bay is breaking up.

After a dismal 2021 season the 2022 season did improve and seem much better. That said I would still consider it a slow season in the overall scheme of things. As many of you know the lake goes in cycles, some good, some bad. The optimistic thing that all boats saw in 2022 was that a large numbers of 1 and 2 year old fish were being caught. Along with the mild winters we have had should set us up for some great fishing for 2023 and 2024.

The work has started to get the boat and tackle ready for the 2023 season. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Werner
